Terms of Use
Last updated September 26, 2026
These terms apply to homedesignacademy.com and to the Home Design Academy program, which are operated by Rafi Inez Design LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us" or "our"). By using the site or enrolling in the program, you agree to these terms.
Using this website
You may use this website for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, scrape or republish our content, or use the site in a way that could damage it or interfere with other people using it.
Our content
All content on this site and inside the program, including lessons, videos, worksheets, drawing sets, templates and guides, belongs to Rafi Inez Design LLC or is used with permission. Enrolling gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the program materials for your own learning and your own design work. You may not share your login, record or redistribute lessons, resell materials, or use them to create a competing course or product.
Enrollment and access
The program is paced over 16 weeks, and every student has access for 20 weeks from their group start date. Extended access beyond 20 weeks may be available for an additional fee. Payment terms, including payment plans, are set out in your enrollment agreement. If a payment plan payment is missed, we may pause access until your account is brought current.
Refunds
All enrollments are final. Please read our Refund Policy before you enroll.
Your work
You own the designs and drawings you create in the program. By sharing work inside the program, you allow us to review it and give feedback. We will only feature your work publicly with your permission.
Community guidelines
Treat other students with respect, keep what other students share inside the community private, and do not post spam or anything unlawful. We may remove content or access for anyone who does not follow these guidelines.
Education, not professional advice
The Home Design Academy is an educational program. It does not provide an architecture license, engineering services or legal advice. Licensing, permitting, stamping and building code requirements vary by state, county and city, and you are responsible for confirming and meeting the requirements where you work. Whenever a project requires an architect or engineer to seal the drawings, you are responsible for working with a licensed professional.
No guarantee of results
We share student stories and results to show what is possible, but your results depend on your own effort, experience, market and circumstances. We do not guarantee income, clients or any specific outcome.
Limitation of liability
The site and program are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Rafi Inez Design LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the program, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the program.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top will always show when they last changed.
