The Home Design Academy is operated by Rafi Inez Design LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us" or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit homedesignacademy.com, sign up for a free resource, apply to the Academy or enroll as a student, and how we use it.
Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle, city and state, and your answers on opt-in forms and application forms.
Application calls: when you book a call we collect your booking details. Calls take place over Zoom and may be recorded and transcribed so we can keep accurate notes.
Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe and Squarespace). We receive confirmation of your payment and your billing name and email, but we never see or store your full card number.
Student work: if you enroll, we receive the coursework, drawings and messages you share inside the program.
Usage data: like most websites, our site collects basic information automatically, such as your browser type, the pages you visit and how you arrived, through cookies and similar technology.
How we use it
To deliver the free courses, guides and emails you ask for
To review your application, schedule your call and follow up with you about the program
To run the program, give feedback on your work and support you as a student
To process payments and keep business and tax records
To improve our website, content and program
To send you emails about design and the Academy, which you can unsubscribe from at any time using the link in every email
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business, such as our website host (Squarespace), scheduling (Calendly), video calls (Zoom), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, our course and community platforms, and our design and file-sharing tools, and only as needed for them to provide their services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Student work and testimonials
We will only feature your name, photo, testimonial or project work on our website or social media with your permission.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies for basic site functions and analytics. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as expected.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing rafi@rafiinez.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will honor them.
